Reports to: Director of Finance and Human Resources.

Summary: Metro seeks a full-time Manager of Human Resources to oversee all human resources functions. This includes managing a broad People Program that reflects the prioritization of Metro's employees: Recruiting, onboarding, training, developing and evaluating performance.

Duties and Responsibilities include: Coordinating with outsourced human resource provider in the processing of payroll, administering of employee benefits, reviewing employee benefit options, making related mandatory filings, etc. Overseeing all processes around the hiring, onboarding and offboarding employees. Tracking and reporting on related metrics such as overtime hours, productivity, open positions, etc. Maintaining employee files and related documentation. Liaising directly with employees regarding workplace incidents, workers comp claims, etc. Administering annual performance review processes. Developing and maintaining detailed process documentation across all related functions, and revisiting such documentation, as necessary, in the pursuit of continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of relevant experience. Thorough understanding of standard human resources practices, procedures and regulations. Demonstrated ability to both operate independently and work collaboratively with others. Relevant HR certifications preferred, but not required, e.g., Certified Professional SHRM, Human Resource Information Professional. Highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality, including the ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information and apply sound judgment in making decisions.
