Candidates will be members of the engineering design/drafting team.

Associates Degree in Drafting, Design,Illustrating or Graphics Artsfrom an accredited institution. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Proficient with Auto Cad;

ability to create, modify and maintain drawings as part of a team of other designers and engineers.

Ensure drawings follow Industry and Government standards and practices. Job Requirements:

The position is in support of the U.S Navy and the candidate will generate drawing packages that document system designs including:

Develop 2D Electrical drawings in accordance with Military Specifications.

Develop Cabling Diagrams and Wiring Tables, inclusive of Lists of Material.

Interpret and incorporate Government Furnished Information and engineering redlines to meet design requirements.

Conduct research of submarine construction drawings using the Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) System.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-4 years professional experience. Technical school or bachelors degree a plus.

Proficiency with AutoCAD required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word preferred.

Knowledge of existing submarine systems, Military Specifications, and previous defense industry experience is a plus.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
