System One is looking for a Instrumentation & Controls Designer / Drafter to join our client’s engineering team in Richland, WA. You will also work closely with the factory staff to inspect and replace existing equipment.
This is a contract position onsite in Richland, WA with the possibility of extension or conversion. You will enjoy a competitive salary, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Two year technical degree with completed coursework in drafting and CAD
5 years minimum related experience
Instrumentation & Controls Design experience
- Develop detailed electrical design drawings and P&IDs
5+ years AutoCAD design experience (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
Developed PC skills including exposure to word processing, spreadsheet and database
Proficient with electrical I&C codes and standards (NEC, UL, ANSI Y14.5, etc.)
