Job Opening: Drafter Level I

Job Description:

• Originate fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials for platforms, structures, ductwork, basic pipe spools and basic boiler assemblies (i.e. tube hole layouts, burner ring, end walls and drums) with limited mistakes or omissions
• Is required to read through and have a good understanding of the information contained within the proposal, specifications, general arrangement drawings, vendor drawings,calculations and structural analysis pertaining to the project being worked on
• Required to seek explanation and/or clarification on any, and all items that they do not understand while working on a project
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required and any prior work experience will be considered a plus
• Formal training in the use of Cad and Solid Modeling software as well as be familiar with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
