job summary:

Drafter openings with a client Northwest of the downtown Atlanta, GA area. The Client is looking for candidates with AutoCAD 2D design along with some GIS experience. This position will collaborate with the Engineering team and be assigned various site Civil and Electrical construction projects under the guidance of the assigned design engineer. The pay rate will be commensurate based on your level of experience.

responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team on designs

• Work with the project manager in implementing the approach to drawing the design

• Work as part of a small team with other technicians and engineers on site Civil and Electrical construction projects

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD 2D design

• Have a basic grasp of engineering drawing and principles

• Demonstrated ability to translate verbal and written information into two dimensional drawings

• Willingness to learn GIS, permitting, and CYME

• Accuracy and attention to detail in creating scale specific designs

• Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills
