We're looking to add an Organizational Training & Development Specialist to our HR team to organize, plan, and execute programs and activities associated with the employee growth, development, and cultivation of internal staff. The primary focus of this position will involve 3 key areas: Career Pathing & Development, Organizational Training, and Talent Recruitment Strategies. Within these individual functions, you'll collaborate with managers, employees, and leadership to identify future growth within the organization and develop plans and strategies to bring it to fruition. A successful candidate for this position will have previous organizational development and recruiting management experience where they focused on activities surrounding succession planning, employee career planning, and training and development.

 

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement competency-based management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals.
  • Conduct assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs.
  • Guide creation of strategies and building of continuous improvement employee growth plans.
  • Create synergy between recruiting and development work.
  • Work with managers and directors to identify future leaders and create employee career pathing plans to achieve performance and growth for success.
  • Coordinate and monitor career succession /successor opportunities in alignment with career pathing plans.
  • Facilitate all aspects of the company growth programs:  Tuition, Specialty Focus, Leadership and employee general training.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate legally required training company-wide to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor, coach & develop recruiting strategies and recruiting specialist role.
  • Research, application & management for training grant opportunities.
  • Assist with annual budget building for Acquisition & Development activities.
  • Effectively and regularly analyze the value of resources for continuous improvement.

     

What We're Looking For:

•             Must have previous organizational and talent development experience with responsibilities focused on organizing training, succession and career planning strategies or processes

•             Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline and 5+ years related experience preferred

•             Successful Experience Supervising Talent Recruitment

•             High energy, enthusiastic, motivational engagement style

•             Strong organizational, planning, project management, and problem-resolution skills

•             Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing skills required

•             Excellent creative, conceptual and analytical thinking abilities

•             Available and able to travel occasionally (
