License: Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Applicants must be 18 years old, a high school graduate or equivalent and meet one of the following criteria: a. Hold credentials as a registered or certified respiratory therapist; b. Hold a temporary license and have passed the examination for CRT or RRT within one year of application; c. Have a valid RRT license from another state; Have been approved by the board as being qualified through special training equal or superior to standards established in Alabama by the board; e. Was employed in the administration of respiratory therapy under the direction of a physician with the effective date of the adoption of rules and regulations set by the board; Has submitted a completed application and payed all required fees.
