License: General Sampler's and Weigher's License

Persons who take samples of, and weigh or measure, milk and cream on which sample tests are to be made as a basis for producer payment, on dairy farms, milk processing plants, producers associations, milk transport firms. Fees: Examination Application: $100; License Renewal: $100. Examination Frequency: Upon request. Exam Locations: At a dairy farm or a milk processing plant. Experience Requirement: By written, and oral and practical examination applicant must show proficiency in sampling and weighing or measuring milk and cream. Average Time to Process Application: 60 days. Renewal Period: Biennially. Expires two years from date of issue. License renewal fees must be received within 90 days of the license expiration date for renewals to be issued. Each general licensee must, within six months prior to the expiration of the license, successfully complete a refresher course and proficiency evaluation.
