Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist (also known as Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologists) Application Fee: $230.00 Requirements: Official transcript with Bachelor of Science degree posted in biological or clinical laboratory science. Verification of one year clinical training or work experience in a clinical Laboratory that processes a certificate under CLIA for performing high complexity testing in the specialty of cytogenetics. All documents must be sent directly to LFS from the source. Examination: Applicants must refer to the LFS website for the list of approved certifying organization examinations for each license category. Renewal: 24 units/hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. Average Time to Process Application: 150 days (5 months). Incomplete application packages may be abandoned 150 days after registration.
