DESCRIPTION OF OCCUPATION: A Tattoo Artist pricks skin of patron, using needled electric tool, that inserts indelible nontoxic pigment into skin to form decorative or ornamental design. REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Tuberculosis and Syphilis Report Form. EXAMINATIONS: Take a blood borne pathogen course and obtain passing score from a board approved testing service. APPLICATION AND FEES: $75 for application fee. OTHER: There were 1,828 licenses currently active as of January 1, 2022.
