License: Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)

Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT) in the State of Idaho must be licensed by The Idaho State Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists. Requirements for licensure include: 1) Graduating with a degree in marriage and family therapy; 2) 1 year practicum to include 300 client hours; 3) 3,000 hours supervised experience; 4) Passing a written examination. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
