License: Driving Instructor

Driving Instructors in Idaho must be licensed by the Idaho Driving Businesses Licensure Board at the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses. Licensed driving instructors must: 1) Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license; 2) Submit a copy of a satisfactory driving record from the Idaho Transportation Department; 3) Submit a criminal history background check; 4) Submit a medical certificate; 5) Submit copies of required completed coursework; 6) Complete a board approved apprenticeship training program or equivalent. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
