Orthodist: An individual who measures, designs, fabricates, fits, or services orthoses and assists in the formulation of the order or orthoses as ordered by a licensed physician for the support or correction of disabilities caused by neuro-musculoskeletal disease, injuries, or deformities. Pedorthist: An individual who measures, designs, fabricates, fits, or services prostheses and assists in the formulation of the order or prostheses as ordered by a licensed physician for the support or correction of disabilities caused by neuro-musculoskeletal disease, injuries, or deformities. Prosthetist: An individual who measures, designs, fabricates, fits or services prostheses and assists in the formulation of the order of prostheses as ordered by a licensed physician for the replacement of external parts of the human body lost due to amputation or congenital deformities or absences.
