License: Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.)

To receive an EMT license in the State of Michigan, an individual must be at least 18 years old, complete a Michigan EMT course within the last 2 years, and be nationally registered. Once these requirements have been met, an applicant must submit a license application online and remit the appropriate fees. Additionally, upon receiving a license, a recipient must accrue Michigan approved continuing education credits OR complete a Michigan approved refresher course.
