To receive a Limited Professional Counselor License in the State of Michigan, an applicant must have received a master's or doctoral degree in counseling and have completed at least 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours in counseling topics. Finally, an individual may submit a license application along with the appropriate application fee ($84.80 to $121.90).
