PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSISTANT<br><br>A Psychological Assistant is a person who holds himself out to be a Psychological Assistant and/or renders to individuals or to the public for remuneration any service involving the application of recognized principles, methods, and procedures of the science and profession of psychology and only under the direct employment and supervision of either the Psychologist employing the Psychological Assistant or the employing community mental health center or state governmental agency.<br><br>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<br>A minimum of one (1) academic year of graduate training in psychology, including a master's degree from an accredited institution of high education is required. In lieu of a master's degree, an applicant who has successfully completed a minimum of thirty-three (33) graduate semester hours in residence as a matriculated student in a doctoral program in psychology may be considered for certification.<br><br>RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>Renewal required by expiration date.
