OPTOMETRIST<br><br> Optometrists examine eyes to determine visual efficiency and performance, diseases, or other abnormalities by means of instrumentation and observation. They can prescribe corrective procedures through the use of lenses, prisms, therapy and training.<br><br>REQUIREMENTS: <br>Be over 21 years of age, of good moral character, and satisfy the education and examination requirements. <br><br>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br>Graduation from accredited school or college of optometry. <br><br>EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: <br>National Board examination, International Boards of examination requirements (IAB) in Optometry Examination and State Board examination.
