LICENSED BEHAVIOR ANALYST <br><br>Individuals involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of environmental modifications to produce socially significant improvements in human behavior are behavior analysts. This professional provides services that can include the empirical identification of functional relations between behavior and environmental factors, known as functional assessment and analysis. <br><br>REQUIREMENTS<br>Individual must be at least 21 years of age at time of requesting license.<br>Submit application with supporting documents to show they qualify as a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) or a board certified behavior analyst-doctoral (BCBA-D) who is credentialed through the nationally accredited behavior analyst certification entity, and, the applicant is not the subject of any disciplinary actions by the certifying entity at the time of application; or the applicant is qualified by the department of intellectual and developmental disabilities (DIDD) to provide behavior analysis services prior to July 12, 2012 and the requirements of T.C.A. _x0015_ 63-11-307(c) are met. This application will include the specified Criminal background check.<br><br>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>Education to qualify as either a BCBA or BCBA-D is required at application.<br><br>EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:<br>Certification examination as required by Behavior Analyst Certification Board <br><br>CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<br>Individual must maintain national certification and any continuing education requirement they require.
