License: REAL ESTATE APPRAISER

Real Estate Appraisers examine real property and estimate its fair value. When buying or refinancing real property, mortgage lenders frequently require an appraisal performed by a license holder. Note: The Licenses issued by the TALCB primarily relate to real estate appraisals used in transactions such as change of ownership. A separate appraiser license is issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for those who appraise real estate for property tax purposes.
