"Mixed Martial Arts" means the convergence of techniques from a variety of combative sports disciplines including boxing, wrestling, judo, jujitsu and kickboxing. "Mixed Martial Arts" techniques may be broken down into two categories: striking and grappling. "Amateur mixed martial arts fighting contest" means a mixed martial arts fighting contest or exhibition in which none of the fighters are compensated for participating in the contest or exhibition. "Professional contest" means a professional boxing contest or a professional mixed martial arts fighting contest. "Professional mixed martial arts fighting contest" means a mixed martial arts fighting contest in which one or more of the fighters is compensated for participating in the contest or exhibition.
