License: CLINICAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

The Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor* is a seasoned substance abuse counseling professional who has completed additional educational and experience requirements in the field of substance abuse counseling to earn the title of Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. The certification is available to those who have completed all of the Substance Abuse Counselor certification requirements, and have demonstrated completion of an additional 3000 hours of supervised counseling experience, passage of the Case Presentation Method/Oral Examination of the IC&RC, and a minimum of an associate's degree in a behavioral science.
