O*NET OnLine Help Browse by Industry
Industries are broad groups of businesses or organizations with similar activities, products, or services. Using the Browse by Industry option, you can select from several industries, or self-employed occupations. Occupations are considered part of an industry based on their employment. The subsequent screen provides a list of occupations where at least 10% of workers are employed within the specified industry. The display also displays projected employment statistics from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics
external site.
